Arthur Virzin

Arthur Virzin has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries.

Arthur began their career as a Programmer at Amdocs in 2006.

In 2007, they joined NCT Group as an International Key Account Manager, responsible for markets in Latin America and Africa. Here, they focused on expanding the company's presence and offering payment solutions and loyalty programs to gas stations.

Moving on, from 2010 to 2011, they worked at Lumina1 as a Senior Software Developer.

In 2011, they joined Qiwi Brasil as an IT Director, where they played a key role in establishing and providing payment services through physical, online, and mobile channels. Their tenure at Qiwi Brasil lasted until 2016.

In 2017, they briefly served as a Tech Advisor at Mobile Financial Services - A MasterCard and Telefonica International Joint Venture.

Next, from 2014 to 2020, Arthur founded and served as the CTO of Flapper. Arthur led the development and management of a marketplace platform that aimed to make private aviation accessible through mobile technologies. Their responsibilities included brand creation, IT team management, operation process management, product strategy planning, and software development.

From 2020 to 2021, they worked as the Head of Operations (Brazil) at Unlimint, focusing on operational excellence.

Currently, Arthur serves as the Senior Operations Manager at HamsaPay, starting in May 2022.

Arthur Virzin holds a Bachelor's degree in Computational and Applied Mathematics from Universidade Estadual de Campinas, which they obtained between 2002 and 2007. Arthur also has a Technologist degree in System Analysis and Development from Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia de São Paulo - IFSP, which they completed from 2009 to 2012.

Additionally, Arthur has obtained several certifications. These include "FIDCs - Fixed-income investment funds backed by receivables" from ANBIMA, achieved in January 2023; "DeFi/Web3 Course - LIFT Learning - Best students in the DeFi programming track" from Banco Central do Brasil, obtained in November 2022; "Data Science and Big Data Analytics: Making Data-Driven Decisions" from MIT xPRO in February 2022; "Advanced Blockchain" from FIAP in December 2021; "Fintechs: Regulations and innovations in financial services (Brazil)" from Instituto Propague in October 2021; "Private Equity & Venture Capital" from Insper Instituto de Ensino e Pesquisa in October 2021.

Furthermore, Arthur has completed courses such as "Machine Learning" from Stanford University in April 2019, "Introduction to Data Science in Python" from the University of Michigan in August 2017, "Getting and Cleaning Data", "R Programming", and "The Data Scientist’s Toolbox" from John Hopkins University in August and October 2016, "Mobile Development With iOS" from Caelum in December 2015, and "Algorithms in Java" from Instituto de Matemática e Estatística - Universidade de São Paulo (IME-USP) in May 2006.

Lastly, Arthur also achieved the certification of "Creating Your 1st Token and Listing It on an Exchange" from Udemy in September 2022.
