Jos den Besten has been working in various roles since 1993. Jos started their career at Hollander Techniek as a Sales Manager ICT, where they were responsible for the start-up of commercial activities for business telecommunication and network related engineering. In 2009, they became a Consultant/Projectmanager at Geodan, where they provided support for Business Development for a specific product group. Jos then took a role as a Sales Manager Retail at Hollander Techniek in 2010, where they were responsible for Sales & Business Development in Retail. In 2017, they joined Hamwells as a Business Development, where they worked on designing and manufacturing sustainable showersystems with a focus on reducing the usage of water and energy. Jos also worked as a Full Time Volunteer for International Construction at New Horizon.nu from 2004 to 2017. Additionally, they have worked as a Freelancer since 2004, providing services in technical- and commercial projects, Business Development, Sales Support, Sales Development, Management and Management Support.

Jos den Besten has an extensive educational background, beginning with a degree in Electrics/ Electronics from MTS Apeldoorn, which they completed between 1987 and 1991. Jos then went on to study Marketing at ISBW, earning a Nima A Sales degree in 1994-1995. Following this, they obtained a degree in Business to Business Marketing from ISBW in 1997-1998. In 2002-2003, they completed a degree in Management from Gustav Käser. In 2009, they attended a Soft Skills course at WTBTS. In 2012, they completed a Masterclass in Business Development at NCOI. Finally, in 2017, they completed a Masterclass in Leadership and Influence at WTBTS.
