Thijs Vera

Thijs Vera is the Managing Director of Hanab Energy Solutions and a member of the Hanab Board of Directors since September 2018. Prior to this role, Thijs held significant positions at VolkerWessels, serving as Director of Corporate Development and overseeing the Initial Public Offering of Koninklijke VolkerWessels N. V., and as Manager of Corporate Development at The Boston Consulting Group, where a focus on the Construction, Engineering, and Offshore Industry was emphasized through various strategic projects. Thijs's earlier experience includes involvement in conservation efforts with Stichting SPOTS and strategic guidance for Société de Conservation et de Développement B.V. Educational qualifications include an MBA from INSEAD and an M.Sc. in Chemistry from Utrecht University, along with additional studies in Business Administration at Erasmus University Rotterdam.
