Alon is a General Partner and Cofounder of Hanaco Ventures. Alon is based in the Tel Aviv office and is primarily focused on investing in companies disrupting the Cyber, Fintech, Marketing-tech, and Enterprise software sectors.
Previously, Alon was a Managing Director at Blumberg Capital, lead the US venture capital funds Tel Aviv office. While at Blumberg, Alon invested in and sat on the boards of some of Israel’s fastest growing companies such as Yotpo, Fundbox, Biocatch, Intsights, ZooZ (acq by PayU), Credorax, SQream, Namogoo, Apester, Cyvera (acq by Palo Alto Networks), DoubleVerify (acq by Providence Equity Partners), Deep Instinct, Cybellum and SAM.
Prior to his VC career, Alon was a technology scout for leading European and Japanese technology companies where he maintains an active relationship today. Alon worked with Softbank, Fujitsu, NTT, Vodafone, IAG (British Airways) and British Telecom.
Alon, his wife, two daughters and his three dogs live in Tel Aviv, Israel.
