Sander Schol is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in public affairs, regulatory strategy, and government relations within the financial services sector. Currently serving as Partner and Head of European Public Affairs at Hanbury Strategy since August 2021, Sander leads a team that delivers political and regulatory advice to clients across various industries. Sander also participates as a member of the Secondary Markets Standing Committee Consultative Working Group at the European Securities and Markets Authority. Prior roles include establishing the Regulatory Strategy function at BGC Partners, serving as Vice President of Government Relations at J.P. Morgan, and directing the Sovereign Debt Division at AFME.
