Doug Campbell is a highly accomplished Architect and Principal currently leading the Higher Education Practice and championing sustainability at Hanbury since May 2023. With a robust career spanning multiple prestigious firms, Doug served as the National Higher Education Practice Leader at GMB Architecture + Engineering and as the global Director of Education at Ghafari Associates, where a focus on educational insights and design strategies was paramount. Prior experience includes leadership roles at SmithGroup, CannonDesign, and an earlier tenure at Hanbury, contributing to educational spaces that promote exploration and innovation. Doug's expertise is further reinforced by a Master's Degree in Architecture with an emphasis in Sustainable Design from The University of Texas at Austin and dual Bachelor's Degrees in Architecture and English Literature from the University of Virginia.
