Susan Van Benten is a seasoned retail executive with extensive experience in merchandising, planning, and allocation. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of Merchandising, Planning, and Allocation at Hancock Fabrics since September 2010, Susan has previously held significant leadership roles including Senior Vice President of General Merchandise at Books a Million, Vice President of Merchandising at Michaels Stores, and Divisional Merchandise Manager for Gifts and Home Furnishings at Steinmart. Susan began their career as the owner of the 1890s Gift Shop and has also worked in various DMM positions at May Co. and L.S. Ayres. Susan holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University Bloomington.
