Hamed Alavi

Hamed Alavi, PhD, is an accomplished biomedical engineer with extensive expertise in research and development, currently serving as Chief Technology Officer and Senior Vice President at enVVeno Medical since July 2020. Prior roles include Vice President of R&D and Quality, as well as Director of R&D and Quality at the same organization. Hamed has held leadership positions such as Head of R&D at Navigate Cardiac Structures, Inc., R&D Lab Manager at Medtronic, and various senior roles at Edwards Lifesciences Advanced Technology Center and ValveStrong. Hamed's academic credentials include a PhD in Biomedical Engineering, and postdoctoral studies at both Stanford University and UC Irvine.
