Matthew Stanton

Matthew Stanton serves as the Chief Development Officer at Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa since September 2025. Previously, Matthew held the same title at Purpose Brands, LLC, from January 2023 to September 2025, overseeing a portfolio of prominent fitness and wellness franchise brands. Matthew's extensive experience includes positions as Chief Growth Officer at Mici Handcrafted Italian, Chief Development Officer at WellBiz Brands, Vice President of Real Estate and Franchise Development at Taco Bueno Restaurants, and Vice President of Strategy & Development at Smashburger, where significant unit growth was achieved. Matthew also has a background in strategic growth and consulting roles at Celanese and Bain and Company, respectively. Matthew holds an MBA from Duke University, a BA in Chemistry from Bowdoin College, and an MA in Analytical Chemistry from The University of Texas at Austin.
