Karl Taylor has extensive work experience in finance and accounting. Karl has held roles such as Chief Financial Officer and Controller at Handi Quilter, Inc., a leader in longarm quilting machines and accessories. Karl also served as VP Finance & Accounting at Premier Needle Arts Inc., overseeing multiple consumer brands and global operations. Karl has experience in various industries, including DNA testing (Ancestry), real estate (American Residential Communities), and energy (Uintah Resources). Throughout their career, Karl has demonstrated strong financial and analytical skills, including preparing financial models, coordinating audits, and redesigning reporting packages. Karl began their career at Ernst & Young as a Manager.
Karl Taylor completed their education at Brigham Young University from 1997 to 2004, where they obtained a Master of Accountancy degree in Professional Accounting. Prior to that, from 1993 to 1997, they attended Overland High School, although no specific degree or field of study is mentioned for this period. In terms of additional certifications, Karl Taylor became a Certified Public Accountant first in Colorado in August 2005 and later in Utah in January 2014.
