Mack Van Lenten has a diverse and extensive work experience. Mack began their career in 2011 as a Cart Attendent/ Pro Shop Attendent at Nevel Meade Golf Course. In 2013, they were a Student Manager (Men’s Basketball) at Bellarmine University. In 2014, they were a Summer Intern at Kentucky Junior Golf Fndtn. In 2017, they were an Athletics Department Intern at Bellarmine University. From 2018 to 2021, Mack worked at Golf Headquarters as a Sales Associate, Golf House Kentucky as an Assistant Executive Director, Interim Executive Director, Director, Association Services, and Junior Programs Coordinator, and HANDLE® Global as a Business Development Specialist and Supply Chain Analyst.

Mack Van Lenten obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) from Bellarmine University in 2016, majoring in Business Administration and Sports Studies. Prior to that, they attended South Oldham High School from 2008 to 2012. In 2017, they went on to pursue a Master's Degree in Sports Administration from the University of Louisville, which they completed in 2018. In 2019, they obtained a Certified Advanced Rules Official from the United States Golf Association (USGA).
