Nerea Astiazarán

Nerea Astiazarán has been working in the tech industry since 2016. Nerea started at BEEVA (Grupo BBVA) as a BBVA DEVOPS PLATFORM, where they administered Cloud solutions with AWS (Amazon Web Service), infrastructure as code, continuous delivery, and DevOps for the platform, helping to facilitate the bank's digital transformation and assisting developers in working with a DevOps mindset. Nerea also deployed on AWS with Packer, Terraform, and Ansible, and Continuous Deployment flows with Jenkins (pipelines as code) and Docker, as well as utilizing JIRA, Bitbucket, Artifactory, and Sonar. Nerea also worked in the GENERACIÓN DEVOPS program, where they received practical training in Cloud technologies and DevOps techniques, including Linux administration, AWS, Ansible, Python scripting, and security, as well as some Agile practices such as Scrum and Kanban. In 2018, they began working at Handpoint as a DevOps.

Nerea Astiazarán earned their Grado en Ingeniería in Ingeniería informática from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid between 2009 and 2015. Nerea then obtained a TOEIC B2 Inglés certification from Capman Testing Solutions in April 2015. In November 2016, they obtained Amazon Web Services Essential Training and Docker: The Basics certifications from LinkedIn. Nerea also holds certifications from Amazon and LinuxAcademy.com, including AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate, AWS Concepts, Ansible Quick Start, DevOps Essentials, Docker Quick Start, and Jenkins Quick Start.
