Maxwell King

Maxwell King has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in different companies. Maxwell currently holds the position of Vice President of Sales at Handtmann Inc. starting from July 2023. Before that, they were a Customer Advisory Board Member at Optimizely from May 2018 to August 2023.

Prior to these roles, King served as the Vice President of Sales at Cleaver-Brooks from May 2015 to August 2023. During their time there, they led a team that grew the worldwide genuine parts and conversions business. Maxwell also played a key role in the development and launch of the Prometha boiler IoT solution.

Before joining Cleaver-Brooks, King worked at Caterpillar Inc. from 2003 to 2015, holding various roles. Maxwell was the Life Cycle Parts Manager from December 2013 to May 2015, responsible for managing the multi-million dollar motor grader parts business. Prior to this, they were the Continuous Quality Improvement (CPI) Manager from November 2012 to December 2013, where they led a team to improve motor grader quality using 6 Sigma tools.

In their earlier years at Caterpillar, King held several positions in the Motor Grader business, including Motor Grader Business Fulfillment Manager, Motor Grader Chief Engineer, Motor Grader Technical Team Leader, and Design Engineer. These roles involved responsibilities such as managing motor grader operations and marketing, leading product development projects, and ensuring performance, quality, and cost targets were met.

Overall, Maxwell King has a strong background in sales and management, with a focus on driving business growth and delivering innovative solutions in the industrial machinery industry.

Maxwell King completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Millikin University in 2012-2013. Prior to that, they pursued their undergraduate education at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from 1998 to 2003.

Additionally, Maxwell King obtained a Six Sigma Black Belt certification from Caterpillar in May 2006.
