Robin Kooijman has worked in various roles within the financial industry. Robin is currently the Director Head of Benelux at HANetf, a position they have held since November 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Lyxor Asset Management from January 2012 to January 2021 as Institutional ETF Sales, where they led and managed the ETF business in the Netherlands and Belgium. Before that, they served as Senior Sales & Relationship Manager Europe at Nyenburgh Holding BV from August 2009 to December 2011. Robin also worked as a Senior Relationship Manager for the Netherlands and the Nordic Region at Euroclear SA/NV from August 2008 to August 2009. In addition, Robin has experience at Intesa Sanpaolo Private Banking as a Senior Pan-European Equity Salesperson from August 1999 to August 2008, where they focused on the distribution of equity products and equity capital market operations. Robin began their career at Mees Pierson Securities in January 1992 as a Senior Equity Salesperson, responsible for Dutch and Pan-European equity sales.
Robin Kooijman started their education at Atheneum Vissering College from 1978 to 1981. Robin then attended Lycee d'Agde Languedoc Roussillon in France, where they obtained their Baccalaureat D (Science) from 1982 to 1985. Later, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Business Economics with a focus on French and Literature at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) from 1985 to 1992. In 1991, Robin gained practical experience and conducted research on implied volatility on Comex traded commodity markets at Comex in New York. Additionally, in 1992, they completed a graduate traineeship at Mees Pierson Private Banking Department in Amsterdam.
