William Ip

William Ip has an extensive work experience in the banking and finance industry. William began their career in 2006 as an Associate at Goldman Sachs, where they worked in equities until 2010. William then joined BNP Paribas as a Director, focusing on exchange traded solutions until 2014. William then moved to Deutsche Bank, where they worked as a Delta One Trader in inventory trading and risk trading until 2018. In 2018, they joined Natixis as Index MM APAC in global securities financing. Currently, they work as the Head of Equities and Structuring in Global Markets at Hang Seng Bank since 2019.

William Ip has a Master's degree in Economics from The University of Hong Kong. William also holds a Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Financial and Actuarial Analysis from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, with minors in Statistics and Computer Science. In terms of additional certifications, they are a TMA Full Member from the Treasury Markets Association, a Certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM) from the GARP FRM Program, and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) from the CFA Institute. William obtained the FRM certification in April 2011, the CFA certification in November 2010, and will become a TMA Full Member in May 2023.
