Matthew Hamermesh is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in appellate practice and bankruptcy litigation. Since September 1999, Matthew has held the position of Shareholder at Hangley Aronchick Segal Pudlin & Schiller, where involvement in the Appellate Practice Group has included successfully advocating for the reinstatement of trial court decisions before the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. Previously, Matthew served as a law clerk for Chief Judge Edward R. Becker at the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit from September 1998 to August 1999. Matthew earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan Law School and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Yale University.
