Katja Perätalo

Katja Perätalo is a Partner at Hannes Snellman since October 2020, focusing on industrial construction projects across sectors including renewable energy and bioproducts. Prior to this role, Katja served as a Specialist Partner and Counsel at Neste, managing Contracts & Claims within the Procurement management team from August 2016 to September 2020. Katja's earlier experience includes being a Senior Associate at Castrén & Snellman, specializing in international construction and dispute resolution from January 2012 to July 2016, and a secondment in the Projects group at Simmons & Simmons in London. Educational qualifications comprise a Doctor of Laws (LL.D.) and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University of Helsinki, and a Master of Science (Tech.) in Real Estate Economics from Aalto University. Katja also achieved notable success as a swimmer, holding Finnish national records and competing in European and World Championships.
