Danil Bugakov

Danil Bugakov currently serves as Head of Property and Casualty at Chubb since February 2025 and has been with Hannover Re since August 2013, where Danil leads the Property business unit at the Malaysian Branch, overseeing over 25 staff across eight countries and managing the Facultative Worldwide business from Singapore. In prior roles at Hannover Re, Danil significantly enhanced underwriting profit and developed new business potentials through relationship building with clients and brokers throughout Asia and the London market. Danil's experience includes quality assurance in technical risk reviews, premium calculation, and the implementation of innovative market strategies while fostering client relationships. Danil's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics and Informatics from Lomonosov Moscow State University and a Master's degree in Banking and Asset Management from Saint Petersburg State University of Finance and Economics, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Tashkent State Economic University. Danil also has experience coaching minors in swimming through the Uzbekistan Swimming Federation.
