Jens Chyba

Jens Chyba is an accomplished financial professional with extensive experience in international accounting, particularly in the insurance and reinsurance sectors. Since September 2001, Jens has served as the Head of the Competence Center for International Accounting at Hannover Re, overseeing IFRS and US GAAP developments, accounting for insurance contracts, and ensuring compliance with group-wide policies. Prior to this role, Jens was a Project Manager and Senior Financial Accountant at Hannover Re, facilitating the implementation of IFRS and providing accounting consultancy. Jens also held leadership positions in Group Accounting at Continental and served as a Global Business Segment Controller at Honeywell. Earlier experience includes roles at Deloitte and WABCO, focusing on auditing and financial controlling. Jens holds a Diplom-Ökonom from Leibniz Universität Hannover and a Betriebswirt (VWA) from Leibniz-Akademie Hannover.
