William Abate is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in thermal management and heat exchanger technologies, currently serving as the Interim Americas R&D Lead at Hanon Systems since November 2009. Abate has successfully managed a large team and played a pivotal role in delivering key programs for major North American OEM customers, achieving significant business awards and developing innovative solutions. Prior to Hanon Systems, Abate held various engineering and managerial positions at Visteon Corporation and Ford Motor Company, contributing to the development of groundbreaking HVAC solutions and vehicle component systems. Abate holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan-Dearborn.
