Dan Kaplan has extensive work experience in various leadership roles in the research and client services field. Dan started their career as an Industry Economist at AMT - The Association For Manufacturing Technology in 1998. Dan then served as the Vice President of Market Research at the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association from 2000 to 2005. After that, they joined The NPD Group as the Director of Aftermarket Client Development, where they managed a team and provided strategic insights for automotive clients. In 2011, they joined Mars as the Manager of the Center of Expertise - Business Analytics & Continuous Data, where they were responsible for pricing strategies and data utilization. Dan later moved to Nielsen, where they worked as a Client Business Partner for Mars in Greater China and as a Client Director for various global clients. Currently, they are the Managing Director, Corporate at Hanover Research, leading client services, team management, and financial management for a $10 million division.
Dan Kaplan has a BA in Economics from The Johns Hopkins University, a Diploma in Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), and an MA in Economics from the University of Virginia.
