Eve Proper

Eve Proper has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Eve started their career as a Graduate Intern at KIPP Indianapolis College Prep and later worked as a Graduate Intern in Institutional Advancement at the University of Denver. Eve then served as a Community Graduate Assistant in Development at the Indianapolis Marion County Public Library and as a Student Communications Assistant at the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy.

Eve also worked as a Program Coordinator at Peabody Professional Institutes, where they coordinated various institutes in Higher Education Leadership and Institutional Advancement. Eve joined Vanderbilt University as a Graduate Assistant, primarily working with Timothy C. Caboni and conducting research on capital campaign materials and crisis communications. Eve also took on roles as an Adjunct Instructor and Teaching Assistant at Vanderbilt University.

Eve's academic career continued at Baruch College, where they worked as an Adjunct Assistant Professor. Eve then joined LIM College, where they held multiple roles, including Assistant Professor, Associate Chair of the Marketing, Management, and Finance Department, and ultimately became the Chair of the department.

Currently, Eve is working as a Content Director at Hanover Research.

Eve Proper holds a PhD in Higher Education Leadership & Policy from Vanderbilt University, which they completed from 2005 to 2011. Prior to that, they obtained an MA and MPA in Nonprofit Management from Indiana University Indianapolis from 2003 to 2005. Eve also holds a BA in English and History of Science from Case Western Reserve University, which they completed from 1994 to 1998. In addition to their formal education, they acquired a certification in COVID-19 Contact Tracing from Coursera in 2020.
