Hanover Township
Robert Zak, LMFT, is an experienced family therapist currently serving at Hanover Township since October 2019. Previously, Robert worked as a psychotherapist at Solid Foundations Therapy, Inc. from May 2019 to October 2019 and as a marriage and family therapy intern at DeKalb County Youth Service Bureau from May 2018 to May 2019, providing therapeutic services to adolescents and their families, co-facilitating anger management groups, and improving case management through supervision. Robert’s foundational experience includes serving as a student therapist at the Couple and Family Therapy Clinic at Northern Illinois University from August 2017 to May 2019, where effective clinical assessment and treatment planning were emphasized. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy/Counseling and a Bachelor of Science in Family and Individual Development, both earned from Northern Illinois University.
