Anna Åkerud

Anna Åkerud has a diverse work experience in the field of medical writing and regulatory affairs. Anna began their career at Apoteket AB, where they completed an internship and obtained a license to practice as a pharmacist. Anna then joined Dilafor AB as a Project Manager in R&D. After that, Anna worked at TFS Trial Form Support and TFS - Clinical Contract Research Organization, where they held roles as a Regulatory Affairs Associate and later as a Medical Writer. In 2019, they joined LINK Medical Research as a Medical Writer and was eventually promoted to Senior Medical Writer. Currently, Anna is employed at Hansa Biopharma as a Senior Medical Writer.

Anna Åkerud completed their education at several prestigious universities. Anna first attended Uppsala University from 1999 to 2004, where they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Pharmacy. Following this, they enrolled at Lund University from 2003 to 2004 and completed the Lund Biomedical Research School program. Finally, they continued their studies at Lund University from 2004 to 2009, earning a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Cell and Matrix Biology.
