Olof Jönsson

Olof Jönsson has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies. Olof started their career in 2006 as a Financial Assistant at ISS Facility Services Landscaping Ltd. In 2009, they became the Chief Accountant at Red Apple Apartments, a position they held until 2017. In 2011, they joined HSB as a Controller/Accountant and worked there until 2016.

From 2014 to 2016, Olof worked as the Chief Accountant at Sagoborgen AB. Olof then joined Alfa Laval in 2016, initially as a Controller Support and later as a Business Unit Controller from 2017 to 2018. At Alfa Laval, they provided the financial perspective to the sales and service managers and focused on improving profitability and bottom-line results.

In 2018, Olof joined Hansa Biopharma as a Financial Controller. In this role, they worked closely with the CFO and the finance team, overseeing the preparation and reporting of consolidated accounts, interim reports, and the improvement and development of financial and project controls. Olof also played a key role in budgeting and forecasting processes and reviewed agreements above certain thresholds.

In 2021, Olof took on the role of Business Controller at Hansa Biopharma, where they were responsible for several franchises, including sales and revenue. Olof implemented a rolling 12-month sales forecasting system and introduced consistent cost/project accounting across all group companies. Olof also led the process for scenario budgets and defined the updated process.

Throughout their career, Olof has demonstrated expertise in financial management, accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and project control.

Olof Jönsson pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Lund University from 2006 to 2010, specializing in International Business, accounting, and finance. In 2008, they had a brief academic stint at National Chengchi University, focusing on International Business. Additionally, they had a short-term study abroad experience at Kyung Hee University in Seoul, South Korea, in 2009, where they pursued studies related to International Business.
