Amanda Szczepanik has a diverse work background in the field of healthcare. Amanda started their career as a Pharmacy Technician at CVS Pharmacy in 2006 and worked there until 2011. From 2011 to 2014, they worked as a Pharmacy Intern at Lifespan. In 2014, they also served as a Peer Tutor at MCPHS University.
Amanda then took on the role of a Research Fellow at MCPHS University and Brigham and Women's Hospital from March to August 2014. Following this, they joined UC Health and worked as a Pharmacy Practice Resident and Staff Pharmacist from 2015 to 2016.
In 2016, Amanda became a Solid Organ Transplant Pharmacy Resident at Duke University Health System, where they stayed until 2017. Amanda then moved on to University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center, where they worked as a Solid Organ Transplant Clinical Pharmacist Specialist from 2017 to 2020.
From 2020 to 2022, Amanda held the position of a Solid Organ Transplant Clinical Pharmacist Specialist at the University of Maryland Medical Center. Amanda further expanded their experience as a Medical Science Liaison at Eurofins Transplant Genomics from 2022 to 2023.
Currently, Amanda is a Medical Science Liaison at Hansa Biopharma.
Amanda Szczepanik attended the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences from 2010 to 2015, where they obtained a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree with a focus on Pharmacy. Prior to that, from 2008 to 2010, they studied Human Physiology/Pre-Med at Boston University, although they did not earn a degree in that field.
In terms of additional certifications, Amanda became a Board Certified Transplant Pharmacist through the BPS - Board of Pharmacy Specialties in November 2021. Amanda also obtained their Pharmacist license from the Maryland Board of Pharmacy in June 2020. Amanda obtained the Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS) certification from the BPS - Board of Pharmacy Specialties in November 2016.
Furthermore, they hold certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association | American Stroke Association in July 2015 and a Pharmacist license from the Massachusetts Board of Pharmacy in the same month and year. Amanda obtained their second Board Certified Transplant Pharmacist certification from the BPS - Board of Pharmacy Specialties in December 2021.
