Magnus Korsgren

Magnus Korsgren has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, starting their career in 2006 at AstraZeneca R&D. At AstraZeneca, they held various roles as a Clinical Pharmacology Physician, Senior Research Physician, and Disease Area Medical Leader until 2010.

After that, they joined BioInvent International AB as a Medical Director from 2010 to 2014. Following their time at BioInvent, Magnus worked at Novartis as a Medical Advisor from 2014 to 2015.

In 2015, Magnus joined Ferring Pharmaceuticals, initially serving as a Medical Director in Experimental Medicine. Magnus later became the Medical Director in TA Gastroenterology, Science and Medicine, and eventually held the position of Senior Medical Director, Head of Medical Section, Translational Medicine, Global R&D from February 2017 to January 2020.

From 2020 to 2021, Magnus worked at Global Drug Discovery, Ferring Pharmaceuticals A/S as the Vice President, Head of Translational Medicine & Clinical Pharmacology.

Currently, Magnus is working at Hansa Biopharma as the Vice President and Head of R&D, a position they have held since April 2021.
