Mark Atencio

Mark Atencio is a seasoned Water Resource Project Manager with extensive experience in water and wastewater engineering. At Hansen, Allen & Luce, Inc. since December 2019, Mark has managed infrastructure projects related to drinking water, secondary irrigation, and wastewater systems. Previously, at Horrocks Engineers, Mark focused on water/sewer infrastructure development for the northwest quadrant of Salt Lake City. Mark's experience also spans five years at Stantec Consulting Services, covering all aspects of water management for diverse clients, and an 18-year tenure at Jordan Valley Water Conservancy District, where Mark led a water resource engineering group on various drinking water projects. Early career experience includes engineering roles at the City of West Jordan. Mark holds a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Utah State University and Brigham Young University, respectively.
