Jeffery Bowen

Jeff Bowen, a senior vice president and senior project manager at Hanson since 2013, has 34 years of experience in the planning, design, and management of public- and private-sector transportation projects. He has been responsible for environmental studies, concept development, preliminary design, and public involvement/presentation, as well as final design elements of both local roadway system projects and improvements to major freeway facilities, including tollways and public-private partnership (P3-financed projects.

Most of his experience has involved helping shape transportation policy for the state of Florida, in particular, managing corridor studies for large regions of the state. Recently, he oversaw the East Central Florida Corridor Evaluation Study as part of the state’s Future Corridors planning process. The study, one of the first of its kind in the state, looked at the state’s Strategic Intermodal System network from a regional standpoint for three high-growth counties. Five major existing corridors were evaluated, and four future corridors were identified. The study helped identify and prioritize transportation infrastructure and services to address regional connectivity and mobility gaps for the next 50 years and to develop a more efficient and safe transportation network.
