Cristina Batt has had a diverse work experience in various roles related to federal policy and relations. Cristina started their career as a Legislative Assistant for the Office of Congressman Eliot L. Engel in 2003. Cristina then worked as a Government Relations Associate at the University at Buffalo from 2007 to 2010. After that, they became a Senior Policy Advisor for the same congressman's office until 2011. From 2011 to 2014, they worked as a Program Analyst at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. In 2014, they joined the Illinois Health and Hospital Association as an Assistant Vice President of Federal Relations, and later became the Vice President in the same department until 2018. Currently, they are employed at HANYS as the Vice President of Federal Relations and holds the position of Senior Vice President of Federal Policy.
