Michael Pauley has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Michael started their career at Orion Television Entertainment and ABC News as a Production Associate before transitioning to roles such as Administrative Coordinator at Metroland Alternative Newsweekly and Assistant to the President at ALL U. Michael later served as an Advertising Manager/Webmaster/Graphic Designer at Northeast One-Stop and co-owned BrawnMedia.

Michael'scareer took a digital focus when they worked as a Webmaster for the New York State Office of Children and Family Services and the New York State Department of Health. Michael then joined HANYS as the Director of Web Strategy & Internet Communications, where they played a crucial role in the redesign of corporate websites and email products. Michael also co-created the successful "Cutzilla" advocacy campaign during their tenure.

Progressing through the ranks, Michael became the Senior Director of Digital Strategy at HANYS, leading a team responsible for web and social media properties. Michael'ssuccesses included developing online marketing campaigns and spearheading the design and development of a mobile site for C-suite financial reports.

Most recently, Michael held the position of Vice President, Communications and Marketing Strategy at HANYS. In this role, they were responsible for the organization's overall messaging strategy, including member, public, internal, and business line communications. Michael played a crucial part in projects such as creating the name and visual identity for an online marketplace connecting hospitals and vendors and crafting presentations and media responses for the C-suite.

Michael Pauley completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh from 1987 to 1989. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate of Applied Science degree in Radio & Television Production from Herkimer County Community College, which they pursued from 1985 to 1987.

In addition to their academic degrees, Michael Pauley has obtained several certifications. Michael completed the "Google Analytics 4 (GA4) Essential Training" from LinkedIn in April 2023. In February 2018, they completed the "Administrator Training Program with Review & Approval" from Workfront. Furthermore, they earned a "Social Media Marketing Certificate" from Hootsuite Media Inc. in October 2015. In October 2014, they completed the "Lean Office & Value Stream Mapping" certification from the Center for Economic Growth. Additionally, they are a graduate of the "Leadership Institute" offered by the Rensselaer County Regional Chamber of Commerce, completed in March 2014. Lastly, they obtained the "Keyword Research" and "Local SEO Exam" certifications from Semrush in December 2021.
