Yona Shtern

Yona Shtern is an experienced entrepreneur and executive with a career spanning over two decades. In 2021, they became the CEO of hapbee. Prior to this, they were a Mentor at FounderFuel from 2012 to 2017, and the CEO and Executive Chairman of Arrive from 2017 to 2018. During this time, they transformed a simple parking app into Arrive - the leading enterprise solution and marketplace for mobility services that connects vehicles, mobile devices and consumers. In 2018, they became a Board Member at Swap.com, and in 2016, they were an E-Commerce & Omni Channel Advisor to the CEO and Chairman of Sears Canada. From 2003 to 2008, they were the CEO of Shtern & Partners, a management and board consulting firm for technology companies, consumer brands, retailers, and e-tailers. During this time, they provided expertise in igniting high-growth, strategy development and implementation, team-building and market disruption. From 2008 to 2017, they were the CEO and Co-Founder of Beyond the Rack, a North American e-commerce marketplace that served over 5,000 brands and 15 million consumer members. Yona was also the Chief Marketing Officer of Ice.com from 2007 to 2008, and the CEO and Board Member of My Virtual Model from 2001 to 2002. Lastly, they were the CEO of Gosh Marketing from 2002 to 2003, a consumer products marketing company that developed customized product solutions for major retailers.

Yona Shtern attended McGill University from 1982 to 1985, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature.
