Rachel Steinschneider

Rachel Steinschneider is a current Data Engineer at General Motors since January 2023 and an athlete at Hapoel Jerusalem Football Club since August 2022. Previously, Rachel served in the Israeli Air Force from 2016 to 2021 as a Simulations and Algorithms Engineer, where responsibilities included developing and deploying aircraft databases, investigating flight performances, and processing and visualizing flight data. Additionally, Rachel held the role of Performance Engineer, focusing on performance analysis, designing flight performance algorithms, and developing aircraft simulators for takeoffs and landings. Rachel holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, completed in 2016.

Hapoel Jerusalem Football Club

Hapoel Jerusalem is a fan owned football club from Jerusalem, Israel, playing in the Israeli Premier League. The club was (re)founded in 2007 by Hapoel Jerusalem fans who were unhappy with the way the team was run by its owners. The club was initially named "Hapoel Katamon Jerusalem". In 2020, the club purchased the historical name - Hapoel Jerusalem. We run one professional adult team, and 14 professional youth teams for various age groups, along side a football academy, for boys and girls. The club operates many social programs, including The Neighborhoods League, 1 on 1, youth at risk, unified sports and amateur women league.
