Dominik Mandarić

Dominik Mandarić has a diverse range of work experience in the field of design. Dominik currently holds the position of Design Systems Lead at Happening, where they are responsible for building a cohesive design system that supports exceptional user experiences. Prior to this, they worked as a Product Designer in the Design Systems team at Superology, a tech company specializing in enhancing the sports betting experience, before it became part of Happening.

Dominik also has experience as a UX Design Lecturer at Algebra, where they shared their knowledge and expertise in the field. Dominik previously worked at Five, a mobile app design and development shop, as a Product Designer. During their time there, they gained extensive experience in product design, software development, growth marketing, and user engagement optimization.

Before joining Five, Dominik worked as a UX/UI Designer at Human, an interaction company that focuses on the interaction between humans and computers. Dominik was responsible for designing interfaces and developing software to create seamless user experiences.

Dominik also freelanced as a Top Rated Designer on Upwork, providing design services to clients from various countries. Dominik has also worked as a Mid-Level Designer at rinzol, a marketing agency, where they created user interfaces and designed brand identities. Prior to that, they started their career as a Junior Designer at rinzol.

Dominik's first professional experience was as a Graphic Designer at King Kong Agency, a social media marketing agency. Dominik created graphics for prominent companies in Croatia during their time there. Before that, they worked as a Graphic Designer at Profi Baucentar, collaborating with the marketing department to create promotional materials.

Dominik Mandarić completed their Bachelor's degree in Economics from Libertas International University, which they attended from 2016 to 2019. In addition, they pursued their interest in design by attending the Digital Design Academy in 2018, where they obtained a certification as a Digital Designer. Prior to that, from 2017 to 2018, they studied Graphic Design at Otvoreno učilište Algebra. Before their higher education, Dominik attended III. Gimnazija Osijek from 2012 to 2016, where they completed their high school education with a focus on Mathematics.

Dominik Mandarić has also obtained several certifications throughout their education and career. In 2019, they completed the HOWtoWOW: Framework for Creativity or How to Solve a Brief in 48 hours course from HURA. Dominik also obtained certifications in Figma UX/UI Essential Training, Workflow of Modern Web Design from Wireframes to Style Guide, and Typography for Designers & Developers from Udemy, all in 2019. In 2018, they obtained a certification as a Sketch 3 by Joseph Angelo Todaro from Udemy, and in 2017, they received the Graphic Designer certification from Algebra.

Lastly, in terms of extracurricular activities, Dominik participated in the Euroscola program organized by the European Parliament in April 2016.
