Vesa Sironen has a diverse range of work experience in various companies and roles. Vesa started their career as an eLearning designer at Fennia in 2005. Vesa then worked as a junior analyst and a masters thesis researcher at Eera Oy from 2006 to 2008. Following that, they worked as a junior consultant at Avaus Consulting in 2008. In the same year, they also worked as a consultant at Rovaniemen Kehitys Oy on a fixed-term assignment.

In 2011, Vesa joined Gapps as the COO, and later became the CEO in 2016. During their time at Gapps, the company experienced significant growth, increasing its annual revenue from 55,000 euros in 2011 to over 14,000,000 euros in 2022. Vesa also served as the Chairperson and a board member of Gapps.

Vesa has also held positions at other companies. In 2016, they co-founded Happeo, a digital workplace platform within the Google ecosystem, and served as a board member and the Head of Sales. Vesa also served as a board member at Maptionnaire by Mapita Oy, Oscar Software Holdings Oy, and the Finnish Software and e-Business Association.

Throughout their career, Vesa has demonstrated a focus on profitable growth, ensuring customer and employee satisfaction, and adapting to changing business environments. Vesa has also been involved in various board memberships, contributing their expertise in SaaS, internationalization, and ERP systems.

Vesa Sironen's education history begins with a High School Diploma from Helsingin Normaalilyseo. They then pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.(Bus.Adm.)) in International Business at Helsinki School of Economics from 2002 to 2006.

In 2004, Vesa participated in an exchange program at Western Washington University, studying Business and Economics for a year.

In 2006, Vesa attended multiple universities and programs. They enrolled in a program called International Design Business Management (IDBM) at Taideteollinen korkeakoulu - Konstindustriella högskolan and Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan. They also participated in the CEMEC Research Exchange program at St. Francis Xavier University and the University of Prince Edward Island, with a focus on Business and Distance Education.

Vesa continued their education at Aalto University from 2006 to 2020, earning a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Service and Information Management.

In 2007, Vesa attended Stockholm School of Economics as part of the CEMS MIM Exchange program.

Finally, in 2009, Vesa attended Stanford University for the ME310 program, but no degree was listed for this period.

Alongside their formal education, Vesa obtained a Google Apps Certified Sales Specialist certification from Google in October 2013.
