Sandra Cornejo Arévalo

Director, Sales at Happier Camper

Sandra Cornejo Arévalo has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. In 2005, they started working as an Assistant Director, Grant Writer, and Teacher at the Latin American Community Art Project (LACAP), where they facilitated workshops, engaged in community functions, and assisted with community development. From 2011 to 2011, Sandra worked as a Creative Facilitator at the Creative Action Institute, where they initiated a partnership with Oxfam America and engaged women in Baja Verapaz through creative facilitation and participatory art processes. In 2016, they became a Visual Art Teacher at Plaza De LA Raza, where they proposed and implemented a curriculum for portfolio preparation and drawing and painting courses. From 2016 to 2017, Sandra worked as a Studio Assistant at Frank Romero Art & Design, handling administrative duties and assisting with the construction, restoration, and conservation of artworks. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Sales at Happier Camper, Inc., where their responsibilities include managing sales activities.

Sandra Cornejo Arévalo has a diverse education background in the field of Fine Arts. Sandra attended the Rhode Island School of Design in 2001, where they completed a Summer Program in Fine Arts. In 2002, they pursued further studies at The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.). Sandra'seducation continued at Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts from 2007 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree with a specialization in Painting & Printmaking. In 2008, Sandra also attended the Yale Summer School of Art and Music, focusing on Fine Arts.
