Mary Squillace

Mary Squillace has over thirteen years of work experience. Mary began their career in 2006 as a Math Teacher at John Bartram High School for Teach For America. In 2010, they became a Web Editor for Time Out Kids and an Editorial Intern for New York Family Magazine, where they reported and wrote stories and event listings for the magazine, website and weekly e-newsletter. Mary also edited blog posts, fact-checked articles and proofread pages. In 2011, they became an Associate Editor for Fitbie.com at Rodale. From 2013 to 2015, Mary was a Writer and Editor for Freelance, contributing to Real Simple, Glamour, Prevention. com, Playboy. com, and Shape. Mary also became an Editor at Whalerock Industries in 2013. In 2015, Mary became the Editor In Chief of Momtastic.com and the Managing Editor of TotalBeauty.com at Evolve Media, LLC. In 2019, Mary took on the role of Partnerships Editor at Motherly and Director of Content at Happiest Baby, Inc.

Mary Squillace completed their Bachelors in Psychology from the University of Notre Dame. Mary then went on to pursue a Masters in Education from the University of Pennsylvania. Lastly, they obtained an M.S in Journalism with a focus on magazine writing and editing from Northwestern University.
