Abigail Frackenpohl

Abigail Frackenpohl has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Abigail started their career as an intern at the Oral History Association in 2008. Abigail then worked as a language assistant at IES Kursaal, where they taught English to Spanish adolescents and helped teachers with their lesson plans. Abigail continued their teaching career as an auxiliar de conversación at CEIP Hans Christian Andersen, where they taught English, Science, Art, and Physical Education to Spanish children.

In 2012, Abigail became self-employed and worked as an English and Piano teacher in Madrid. Abigail taught English as a Second Language to students of all ages and levels, including business English at La Vida Es Bella and exam preparation at a private academy. Additionally, they provided private lessons focusing on remedial help, grammar, vocabulary, and creative learning processes.

Abigail Frackenpohl holds a Master's degree in Language Interpretation and Translation, which they obtained from Universidad Complutense de Madrid from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) at Dickinson College from 2005 to 2009, majoring in Spanish Language and Literature and Music Performance. In 2008, they also attended Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro for an unspecified period of time.
