Ian Street has held various positions since 1994. Ian began their career as a Counselor at Camp Maxwelton. In 2000, they moved on to become a Lab Technician at Salem Hospital Regional Laboratory. From 2001 to 2008, they were a PhD Student at Washington University School of Medicine, and concurrently a Teaching Assistant at Washington University from 2002 to 2005. In 2011, they became an Adjunct Professor of Introduction to Molecular Genetics at River Valley Community College. From 2013 to 2017, they were a Science Communication Consultant at HappiLabs, and from 2017 to present, they have been a Virtual Lab Manager at HappiLabs.org.
Ian Street obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Willamette University in 2000, followed by a Ph.D. in Biology and Biomedical Sciences- Plant Biology from Washington University in St. Louis in 2007.
