Walter Burge

Walter Burge is a seasoned data engineer and technology leader with extensive experience in developing innovative data solutions and architecture. Currently serving as a Senior Data Engineer at Booster since March 2024 and as the Founder and Chief Technology Officer at Happy Highways since November 2022, Walter has a strong background in multimodal deep learning models and high-performance routing APIs. Previous roles include Data Engineer at Lumos Labs, Co-founder and Lead Application Architect at Joyryde Technologies, and Principal Data Architect at Neustar, Inc. Walter holds a Master of Information and Data Science from the UC Berkeley School of Information, completed in 2019, and has consistently demonstrated expertise in data governance, enterprise architecture, and large-scale data processing throughout various roles in the financial and technology sectors.
