Matt Potere

Matt Potere serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Happy Money since August 2024 and has held the position of Advisor and Chief Executive Officer at Sunlight Financial since September 2015. Previously, Matt was a member of the Board of Directors at Queen City Forward from April 2014 to June 2016, contributing to social entrepreneurship in the Charlotte region. Matt's extensive experience at Bank of America from 1995 to 2015 includes roles such as Senior Vice President, Home Equity & Auto Products Executive, and Home Loans Strategy and Business Operations Executive, where significant portfolio growth and market share gains were achieved. Prior to this, Matt acted as COO at Swift Financial, focusing on credit strategy and marketing analytics. Matt holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Delaware, completed in 1997.
