Stephen Michaels is a skilled production coordinator with experience in various roles within the film and entertainment industry. Currently employed at Happy Place since July 2022, Stephen previously served as an administrative assistant in business development at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. Additional experience includes a senior associate role in theatre operations, where Stephen closely collaborated with theater managers and ensured optimal screening conditions. Stephen's volunteer work with American Cinematheque involved filming events and assisting with special gatherings, while past roles as a student employee and internship ambassador provided opportunities to manage equipment inventory, lead script coverage teams, and organize private screenings. Stephen holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Screenwriting from Chapman University.
