Theresa Mannschatz has over 10 years of work experience. In 2006, they began as a Freelancer at Büro für Bodenwissenschaft. In 2010, they worked as a Wissenschaftliche Hilfskraft (WHK) at Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research (UFZ). In 2011, they worked as a PhD student at Helmholtz centre for environmental research ufz. In 2014, they worked as a Researcher at UNU-FLORES (Institute of Integrated Management of Material Fluxes and of Resources). In 2015, they worked as a Scientific content manager - Team and project management at ResearchGate. In 2016, they founded Bolo de Rolo Berlin, baking and selling Brazilian Cake in Berlin and sending it also via post within Europe. In 2017, they worked as a Data Scientist at Parkling. In 2019, they worked as a Junior backend developer at MOTIONTAG. In 2022, they began as a Backend developer at Happydemics and also as a Freelance web-development, developing websites using Ruby on Rails.

Theresa Mannschatz attended Gymnasium Brandis from 1994 to 2002, where they obtained a 1.9 in Naturwissenschaften. Theresa then attended TU Bergakademie Freiberg from 2002 to 2009, where they obtained a Diplom in Geoökologie. From 2007 to 2008, they attended Universidade Estadual de Campinas with no degree. From 2011 to 2015, they attended Technische Universität Dresden, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Geophysics and Soil Science. Finally, they attended Skillcrush.com from 2018 to 2019, where they obtained a Certificate in Web Development and Web Design.
