Athulya Valsan

Athulya Valsan has worked in the software engineering industry since 2014. From 2014 to 2018, they were employed by Infosys Ltd., where they held the roles of Test Engineer and System Engineer. In their role as Test Engineer, they identified and automated test cases from the Functional Specification Document using Selenium Web Driver and Java, and executed the scripts using Maven. As System Engineer, they were well trained in Java, OOPS concepts, DBMS, Software Engineering, and Web Technologies, and worked on building a Share Market Website using Java. In 2018, they began working for Digital Minds Technologies Inc. as a Senior Test Engineer. In this role, they identified and analyzed automation and manual test cases from the Acceptance Criteria, automated test cases in Selenium Web Driver using Java, performed cross browser testing and in multiple devices, and worked on HMC and CMS for data setup. Currently, they are employed by HappyFox as a Technical Lead QA, where they design test cases on TestRails and performs end to end testing of Helpdesk application in a Continuous Releases environment, performs REST API and UI testing, and writes automation scripts for regression testing, sanity testing, and build verification.

Athulya Valsan obtained their Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Information Technology from Karunya University between 2010 and 2014. Athulya also obtained a certification in Learning Python from LinkedIn in January 2022.
