Russell Gonzaga

Russell Gonzaga serves as the Poet Laureate Emeritus for Lake County, a role initially held from 2010 to 2012, during which time significant contributions were made to the Literacy and Arts programs in collaboration with the Lake County Arts Council and The Middletown Art Center. With a diverse background in arts education, Russell has facilitated workshops at Harbin Hot Springs since 2003, and previously taught poetry and writing to middle and high school students in the City of Oakland Park and the San Francisco School District through various programs from 2000 to 2006. Russell's educational foundation includes studies at the San Francisco Art Institute from 1995 to 1997.
