Julie Chen

Julie Chen is a seasoned genomics engineer with extensive experience in computational biology and bioinformatics. Currently serving as a Senior Genomics Engineer I at Harbinger Health since January 2025, Julie previously held roles at Chroma Medicine as a Scientist in Computational Engineering, where responsibilities included leading the computational engineering function, processing NGS samples, managing AWS cloud services, and web-app development. Julie also contributed to Cellarity as a Scientist specializing in bioinformatics and single-cell genomics, and worked at Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research, implementing single-cell RNA-Seq and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Early career experience includes high throughput library construction at the Broad Institute. Julie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from The Johns Hopkins University.
