Jason S. Wou

Jason S. Wou has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Jason S. is currently working as a Principal Steering Engineer at Harbinger since September 2022. Before this, they held multiple positions at Ford Motor Company, including ADAS Lateral Controls Engineer from July to September 2022 and Electric Power Steering EPAS Engineer from June 2014 to July 2022.

Prior to their time at Ford, Jason worked at Bishop Steering Technology GmbH as a Senior Project Engineer from March 2002 to February 2014. In this role, they were an expert in Variable Ratio Steering Gear (VGR) and worked on various R&D projects. Jason S. had specialties in CNC machining process, cutting tool dynamics, and G-Code and CAD Surface modeling.

Before joining Bishop Steering, Jason was a Project Engineer at Bishop Steering Technology GmbH from 1999 to 2002. During this time, they developed a comprehensive understanding of Variable Ratio Steering Gear (VGR) and worked on designing simulation models and using CAD programs.

Jason also has experience as a Project Engineer at TRW Steering Suspension Australia, a Teaching Assistant at UNSW, a Research Assistant at the University of Michigan Transportation Research Institute, and an Engineering Intern at LG Electronics.

Jason S. Wou completed their education in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in the field of study. Jason S. received their Ph.D. from Purdue University, where they were enrolled from 2006 to 2014. Prior to that, they pursued their Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Michigan from 1996 to 1998. Continuing their academic journey, Jason obtained their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota, where they attended from 1992 to 1996.
