Gilbert van Hassel

Gilbert Van Hassel is an accomplished financial executive with extensive experience in asset management and board governance. Currently serving as a Retired Executive and Active Board Member at Harbor Capital Advisors, Inc. since March 2018, as well as a member of the Supervisory Board at both Boston Partners Global Investors, Inc. and ORIX Corporation USA, Gilbert has held significant leadership positions throughout a distinguished career. Notably, Gilbert was the CEO and Chairman of the Management Board at Robeco Institutional Asset Management from September 2016 to December 2021 and previously held prominent roles at ING and JP Morgan Asset Management. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Finance from Purdue University, an MBA from Catholic University of Louvain, and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Economics from the University of Antwerp.
