John Andrawis currently serves as Chief of Orthopedic Surgery and Medical Director of the Orthopedic Surgery Service Line at Torrance Memorial since June 2022. Additionally, John holds the position of Health Science Clinical Professor at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and serves as Director of Value Based Healthcare and Resident Research in the Department of Orthopedics at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. John has been practicing as an Orthopedic Hip/Knee Replacement Surgeon within the Torrance Memorial Physician Network since September 2018 and is a reviewer for Clinical Orthopaedics and Related Research. Formerly, John completed a fellowship at Dell Medical School, where initiatives included creating the Same Day Surgery Program. John completed an Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center and has previous experience as a Research Associate at Xencor. Academic credentials include a Doctorate of Medicine from The University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and a Bachelor of Science in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from UCLA.
