Michael Makhinson

Michael Makhinson is an experienced psychiatrist currently serving as the Interim Department Chair of Psychiatry and Inpatient Director at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center since July 2005. Additionally, Michael Makhinson has held the position of Vice Chair of Psychiatry and Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA since July 2018, and serves as an investigator at The Lundquist Institute for Biomedical Innovation at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center since June 2022.
